P&C licensed required to be obtained in first 6 months of employment if not already licensed.

Responsibilities:
The Personal Lines Underwriter will underwrite personal lines of business for PA & NY according to company underwriting guidelines.
Evaluate applications of insurance Evaluates possibility of losses Reviews company records to determine if reinsurance is warranted Communicate with agents and other insurance professionals to obtain additional information Provides information to agents and policyholders Trains new agents on company products Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Job Expectations:
In-Office Position (Monday - Friday 8:
30 am to 4:
30 pm) for 35 hour workweek Hybrid schedule may be offered after initial training period Detail Oriented Customer Service Oriented Organized Full benefit package included Physical Demands Physical demands are minimal and primarily performed in an office setting.
